Barbara,
Thanks so much for your informative presentation.
I would have to agree with you on the social media/internet contribution. I have embraced all of it from the beginning of my career, all of 3 yrs.

Hi Barbara,
I enjoyed your presentation very much.
Precise and solid information. There are some of us that are current with technology and some of us who are not. Hearing your program tells us that as small businesses, we can not afford not to be on top of the social media network.

Thanks

I have noticed irreverence as a growing culture among young people. Shannon Kaminaga stands in contrast to this as an eager and bright student who will make for an outstanding professional very soon. She is an example of the very best that came come from Hawaii's public schools. We were lucky to have her. Thanks Pearl City High School.

I'm enjoying your blog posts, and especially miss the quiet, lazy afternoons I'd spend at your father's restaurant and Ipan Beach Park.

It's certainly an interesting and stressful time to do business on Guam. I was last there in September, and business was incredibly slow. There's a very quick revolving door of business I've seen over the years, as some leave and others start up.

It's great to see so many familiar names that you are meeting up with or you've associated with in the past, including Ri, Maureen and Steve Nygard. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay!

In dealing with television cameras, caution is always a good approach, even with small talk. As the old saying goes, if you would not be comfortable having your comments appear on the front page of a newspaper, better not to let them out of your mouth. Obama's remark should not have come the way it did. Having said that, when a president of the United States uses the word “jackass,” it will be extremely difficult for the press to ignore.
