for Sutter Health Kahi Mohala

(EWA BEACH, HAWAII — SEPTEMBER 19, 2018) — Sutter Health Kahi Mohala has named Linda Pitman as its chief operating officer. She brings extensive behavioral health background and operational management to Hawaii’s only free-standing not-for-profit psychiatric hospital.

Pitman has more than two decades of success in change management in healthcare. She has constructed high-performing leadership and clinical teams and fostered groundbreaking new programs and is known for her dynamic, hands-on approach to enhancing organizational management.

“Linda has unwavering passion for delivering excellent patient care and value,” said Leonard Licina, Kahi Mohala CEO. “She is already a vital part of our management team and is revitalizing our operational systems.”

Pitman started her career in behavioral health nursing, then went into nursing supervision. Her executive leadership positions include chief executive officer, executive director and vice president of behavioral health at facilities in Texas, California and Ohio. Pitman helped re-engineer operations, process improvement, alliance building, and operational expansion at Aurora Las Encinas Hospital, Mission Community Hospital, Silverlake Medical Center and Haven Behavioral Healthcare.
